New · Hygiene sleeve for cordless vacuums

Vacuuming is clean.
Emptying isn’t.

For everyone with a bagless vacuum: MR BINLY® catches the dust as you empty. The most unpleasant moment of cleaning is over — you can empty anywhere, without wiping up afterwards.

You pull the thin sleeve over the bin before you open it. Whatever falls out stays in.

Sound familiar?

It’s always the same moment.

Living room, home office or bathroom — the bin has to be emptied, and nobody has a good place to do it. The dust never stays where you tip it.

A man empties a cordless vacuum into a pedal bin; the cloud of dust drifts into the open-plan living room behind him.

“I vacuum to make it clean. Not to make it dusty.”

Living room · the bin is right there, and so is the cloud

The bin is in the hallway, the dust is in the living room. It takes hours to settle — and then it’s on the sofa, on the table and on the floor you just vacuumed.

A man at his desk empties a cordless vacuum into the wastebasket and sneezes into a tissue; dust covers his laptop and papers.

“I’m sneezing before I’ve even finished.”

Home office · the wastebasket sits right by the desk

No balcony nearby, so it’s the basket next to the chair. It starts while you’re still tipping — and afterwards the dust is on the keyboard, on the paperwork and in your coffee.

Seen through a bathroom door left ajar: a woman empties a cordless vacuum into a pedal bin, the cloud of dust filling the room.

“I hold my breath and hope it’s over quickly.”

Small flat · no balcony, so the bathroom with the door ajar

The smallest room, the door pulled to, as far away as you can get. The dust still drifts over the threshold into the hallway — right where the kids were playing a minute ago.

MR BINLY swallowing the cloud of dust
The enemy has a name

The cloud of dust.
And someone who swallows it.

MR BINLY® is what the cloud is up against. A bag with exactly one job: making those five seconds at the bin bearable — every time, in every room.

No modifications to your vacuum, no filters, no accessory that stops fitting one day. A sleeve, an elastic band, done.

How it works

Four moves. Five seconds.

The elastic band closes around the bin and holds on its own. No tools, no modifications, nothing to install.

Pulling the sleeve over the dust bin
1

Slip it on

Pull the sleeve over the dust bin — the elastic band tightens on its own and sits.

One hand holds the sleeve against the dust bin, the other opens the flap
2

Empty

One hand holds the sleeve against the bin, the other opens the flap. The dust falls into the sleeve instead of into the room.

The sleeve is pulled down and twisted shut
3

Twist shut

Pull the sleeve downwards and twist as you go — the elastic band narrows the opening. Then knot it.

Disposing of the sleeve in the household waste
4

Bin it

Straight into the household waste. No wiping up, no cloud, no washing your hands.

The proof

All the dust.
In exactly one place.

The sleeve sits on the bin and the dust collects inside it. No reaching for a cloth, no trip out to the balcony — the kitchen stays exactly as it was.

Why we built this

People get used to it.
We didn’t want to get used to it.

Emptying annoys us too — for years now, several times a week. At some point we wanted to know whether everyone else felt the same. So we ran a worldwide market study across several countries and languages. Three things came up again and again.

Finding 1

It’s almost never about the vacuuming. It’s about the emptying.

  • “The biggest mess.” The bin gets opened over the rubbish — and a good part of it lands beside it, on the worktop and on the floor you just vacuumed.
  • “Filthy job.” · “Disgusting.” Two phrases that keep coming up for the same handful of seconds. Not about the vacuum — about the five seconds at the bin.
  • “Throws up quite a lot of dust when emptying.” Even in product tests, emptying stays the weakest point of bagless vacuums. At the actual vacuuming they score well.

The vacuum isn’t the problem — the two seconds afterwards are. That’s exactly where MR BINLY® comes in, and nowhere else. Nothing about your vacuum changes.

Finding 2

People have long been improvising their own fix.

  • “Wrap the bin in a bin liner.” The obvious trick — and the least reliable. The bag doesn’t sit, slips off as you open the flap and has to be held with your second hand.
  • “I only empty it outside now.” Works as long as there’s a balcony and the weather plays along. In winter, in the rain and in a city flat, that way out disappears.
  • “Hold your breath.” · “Put a mask on.” Effort nobody really goes to two to four times a week. You do it once — and then never again.

Anyone wrapping a bag around the bin or walking out to the yard has long since admitted there’s a problem — they’re just missing the right part. MR BINLY® is the clean version of what people improvise anyway: a bag that stays put on its own.

Finding 3

And there was nothing you could simply buy.

  • Built-in bag systems They exist — but only for the one vacuum they were built for. If you want one, you have to replace the vacuum. For the one you own, they’re no use.
  • Auto-empty docks They solve the problem, but cost several hundred, need a permanent spot in your home and usually a matching new vacuum to go with them.
  • Professional disposal bags Made for industrial vacuums on building sites: wrong size, wrong price, and nowhere to be found for the home.

If you wanted to solve the problem, you had to buy a system. That’s why MR BINLY® is one part, not a system: no dock, no adapter, no subscription, no new vacuum. Design, specification and quality requirements all come out of Zurich.

The quotes come from that market study and refer to bagless vacuums in general — they are not customer reviews of MR BINLY®.

A cordless vacuum being emptied into an open kitchen bin drawer; a dense cloud of dust hangs over the worktop.
Two seconds, every single time

You just finished cleaning.
And you’re putting the dust straight back in the room.

You open the flap — and half of it misses. Some lands in the bin, the rest on the worktop, in the sink and in the air you’re breathing while you do it. That’s why you take it out to the balcony, into the garage, out the front door.

  • The dust rises exactly where you’re standing.
  • Whatever misses, you wipe up afterwards.
  • Two to four times a week. Every week.
What changes

The same task.
A completely different feeling.

Without MR BINLY®

“Oh no, I have to empty it.”

First the walk to the balcony, then holding your breath, then wiping up. And the same again next time.

With MR BINLY®

“Five seconds. Done.”

Slip on, empty, twist shut, bin it. Right where you’re standing. No cloud, no cloth.

Who it’s for

For homes where dust actually matters.

Dust-sensitive homes

You turn your head away, screw your eyes shut — and sneeze anyway.

If vacuuming is already hard work, emptying shouldn’t throw up a cloud on top of it. Less dust in the air you breathe — at exactly the moment when the most of it usually gets stirred up.

Homes with pets

You clean to get rid of the hair — and spread it around in the process.

Hair and fine dust every single run, often daily. The sleeve catches both, so none of it travels through your home a second time when you empty.

Small flats

There is nowhere you can take it to get out of the way.

No balcony, no garden, no garage. If you have to empty in the middle of your living space, you’ll notice the difference most.

Common questions

What you want to know
before you sign up.

Will the sleeve fit my vacuum?

Almost every cordless vacuum. The elastic band fits bins with a circumference of 250 to 600 millimetres. Practically every common model falls in that range.

What matters isn’t the brand but the shape: the sleeve needs a cylindrical dust bin with a flap at the bottom. Vacuums with paper bags, or with a bin that comes out sideways, aren’t what this is for.

Can I reuse a sleeve?

No, MR BINLY® is single use. The whole point is that the dust stays shut in — and that only works if the bag gets knotted and thrown away.

The film is deliberately thin. It is just strong enough not to tear as you pull it on — any more material would simply be waste.

How long does a pack last?

A pack contains ten sleeves. How far that goes depends on how often you empty. Two to four times a week is normal — then a pack lasts around three weeks.

In a home with pets, where it gets emptied daily, a pack runs out correspondingly faster.

What does MR BINLY® cost?

The final price isn’t fixed yet — the first production run is under way. As soon as it is, you’ll hear it first if you’re on the list.

What is certain: sign up now and you get a discount code for 20% off your first order.
